What's new in ZoneLiquidity
BR-3939 | Cash Forecast: Forward-Looking by Default, with Forecast vs Actual for Past Dates
The Cash Forecast chart now starts at today and shows only forward-looking dates by default. Previously, a forecast that began before today also showed forecasted values for dates that had already passed.
- Select Show past forecast to extend the chart back to the forecast start date.
- For past dates, the chart now shows two lines: the forecasted cash balance and the actual cash balance.
- The past forecast is a daily snapshot. Each day, the previous day's forecast is locked and does not change.
- Actuals are plotted on the date the payment was received or paid, not the date it was forecast for.
BR-3916 | Cash Forecast: Chart Scale Switch with Smart Default
Users can now switch the Cash Forecast chart between Days, Weeks, Months and Quarters using the Timeline control. The chart rebuckets the Forecasted Cash Balance, Inflow, Outflow and Net cash flow to the selected scale.
The chart now opens at a scale that suits the forecast length:
| Forecast length | Default scale |
|---|---|
| Up to about 1 month | Days |
| Up to about 1 quarter | Weeks |
| Up to about 1 year | Months |
| Over 1 year | Quarters |
User's selected scale is kept for the session. Totals stay consistent across scales.
BR-3956 | Cash Forecast: Opening Balance and Closing Balance Tiles
Two new tiles now appear above the Cash Forecast chart:
- Opening Balance: the actual cash balance on the forecast start date, with that date shown.
- Closing Balance: the forecasted cash balance at the end of the forecast period, calculated as Opening + Net cash flow. It updates as new data syncs into the forecast.
BR-3725 | Variance Analysis: Drill-Down by Month
Users can now expand each month in the Variance Analysis tab to see what drove the difference between forecasted and actual cash.
- Each month shows the Forecast and the Variance as an amount and a percentage, with â–²/â–¼ indicators.
- Expand a month to see contributing drivers, such as an early or late payment, and each driver's contribution.
- A month with no actual cash events shows awaiting actuals instead of zero. The chart shows a Pending Actual Payment bar.
- The current month is marked as a running figure that updates as actual cash events sync.
- Actuals refresh at the next forecast run, not the moment a payment is saved in NetSuite.
BR-4011 | Drill Down: Forecasted Cash Balance and Open AR/AP Shown Separately
The Drill Down tiles now show Forecasted Cash Balance and Open AR/AP separately, in line with the Cash Forecast chart. This avoids double counting between the two forecast types.
- The Inflows card shows Forecasted Cash Balance and Open AR.
- The Outflows card shows Forecasted Cash Balance and Open AP.
- Inflows display in green. Outflows display in red, in brackets.
- Variance Analysis now uses the Net Forecasted Cash Balance only. Open AR and Open AP are excluded.
- The Variance Analysis table now includes an Actual column.
BR-3985 | Forecast Period: Past Dates and Quarters Disabled
Forecasts can now start only from the current month onward. In the Forecast Period step, past dates in the Start Date picker and past quarter buttons are disabled.
- The Start Date now defaults to the current month.
- Selecting the current quarter sets the start to the current month, not the first day of the quarter.
- An information icon explains the restriction.
- This applies to new forecasts and to edits of an existing forecast period.
BR-3970 | Cash Forecast: Responsive Tables
The Cash Forecast tables now fit smaller screens so key columns stay visible.
- In Forecast events, Amount now are displayed as the second column, after Date.
- Counterparty and GL account are shortened at a set width. Users can hover to see the full text.
- The horizontal scrollbar now stays visible when columns overflow.
- In the Forecast Lineage drawer, the Source Transactions table stays within the drawer and scrolls horizontally.
ZoneLiquidity Integration in Zone Control Center (ZCC)
BR-4007 | ZCC: Setup > ZoneLiquidity Links Now Open in ZCC
When the ZCC workspace preference is enabled, the Setup > ZoneLiquidity menu items now open inside Zone Control Center. This applies to Liquidity, Forecasting, Scenario Planning Agent, Working Capital Insights and ZoneLiquidity Setup.
If the preference is off, or ZCC is not installed, these links open the standalone pages as before.
ZoneReconcile Bug Fix
BR-3866 | Bank Balance NetSuite: Fallback Saved Search No Longer Fails
Bank Balance NetSuite is now calculated correctly for accounts with a high volume of transactions. Previously, when the default calculation timed out, the fallback saved search failed with an unexpected error. The bank balance was then not calculated and remaining lines were not updated.
The fallback saved search now uses the account's date format preference.
