Bank Connectivity in ZoneReconcile 2.0 automates the ingestion of bank statement data through secure channels such as SFTP and APIs. Use it to eliminate manual file uploads and keep your reconciliation data current.
Overview
After you configure Bank Connectivity:
- ZoneReconcile users authenticate with credentials, such as access tokens or SSH keys.
- ZoneReconcile polls for or receives bank statement files in the supported file formats.
- ZoneReconcile parses the files and validates them against your predefined bank account configurations.
- ZoneReconcile pushes the bank files into the reconciliation engine and displays them to end users as a bank statement.
Note: If your request concerns the cost of Bank Connectivity, adding Bank Connectivity to your existing subscription, or expanding the scope of an existing implementation, contact your Account Manager to discuss the available options and pricing.
If you are unable to identify your Account Manager, create a support ticket for further assistance.
How Bank Connectivity works
Connectivity API
The ZoneReconcile Connectivity API uses a modern, API-first architecture. ZoneReconcile creates a connection to a banking institution (bank) with a unique access token. The access token secures and protects access to your banking data.
To simplify setup, ZoneReconcile provides a guided, end-to-end assistant. The assistant establishes bank connectivity and automatically configures the settings required for bank reconciliation.
Connectivity SFTP
Connectivity SFTP in ZoneReconcile lets you securely and automatically import bank statement files. The connection uses multi-factor authentication that combines a username, password, and key pair, which keeps the flow of bank data safe and automated.
ZoneReconcile connects to the SFTP server of your bank or provider, regularly downloads files, and prepares them for reconciliation without manual uploads. See Supported file formats for the list of compatible formats. In addition to downloading bank statements, Connectivity SFTP lets you upload payment and payroll files.
